My work has been described as spontaneous and natural. We all know life isn’t perfect. I have a true passion for photography that shines through every image. I strive to capture authentic connections and bring out the beauty of the moment. Showing people themselves as warmly as others see them is my privilege.
I continue to enhance my photography knowledge by attending workshops, seminars and conventions to stay abreast of current technology and trends. When I decided to become a professional photographer, I worked solely with the horse community. Now I am learning how to take photos with the focus on people. Which is making me a better photographer all around. There's so many wonderful teachers out there and fortunately they all love to come to Florida to speak and share their huge depth of knowledge!

Horse Photography: Kat Rodgers Photography is nationally known in the reined cow horse circles. I travel throughout the country to shoot horse show events and work with individual clients to create images that allow the true beauty and grace of the horse to be seen. With years of practice, I have been able to capture images while maintaining correct form & function in the photos for owners to use in effective advertising as well as a special moment to cherish forever.
I have also worked as a freelance photojournalist and have been widely published (print and photo credits) in western performance horse magazines, including Performance Horse, Quarter Horse News, Stock Horse News, and Western Horseman.
Currently, I am the official photographer of the National Stock Horse Association and the Georgia Reined Cow Horse Association and shoot many reined cow horse and cutting events nationwide.
